Tea has a place alongside honey in the Balqees range. Our blends offer different ways to explore leaves, spices and aromas, from Ginger Mint green tea to Zanzibar Chai and Coco Choco black tea.
Start with what is in the cup
Ginger Mint combines green tea with mint, ginger and rosemary. Zanzibar Chai brings black tea together with spices including cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves. Coco Choco combines black tea, cocoa husks and coconut. Check the current product label for the exact blend and preparation directions.
Taste the tea before adding honey. A small amount can bring sweetness without hiding the tea’s character. Try the same tea with two honeys if you want to compare the pairing; our tea-and-honey guide offers more ideas.
Asking about community impact
Tea farming can involve growers, processors, packers and traders. To understand a particular product’s impact, ask for the producer or cooperative, the growing region and any documented programme behind a social or environmental claim. Precise income or employment claims need evidence from the actual project.
A meaningful origin story names the people and place and explains the relationship. A general statement about African agriculture is not proof that every tea purchase funds a particular community benefit. We prefer clear ingredient and sourcing information to unattributed quotations or impressive statistics.
