This rare, raw and unpasteurised Sidr honey is considered the best in the world due to its marvellous taste, beguiling aroma and health promoting benefits. Made by bees that forage the nectar of Sidr trees that grow in the mountains surrounding a remote valley called Wadi Do'an in the Hadhramaut region of Southern Yemen. The ancient Sidr tree is famous for its potent medicinal properties. Our co-operative of nomadic beekeepers harvest the honey naturally using centuries-old traditional methods bringing it to you in the purest form available.
This mono floral variety has a caramel and butterscotch taste profile with notes of toffee. An extremely versatile honey that can be used on toast, porridge, yoghurt, charcuterie and cheese boards, as well as in marinades, salad dressings and much more!
